On another board I'm on, someone mentioned that BRU/TRU is accepting bottles that contain BPA and issuing store credit for them. Has anyone here heard of it or tried it? I called my store and said she never heard of this.

It is up to the Store Manager of the store. Yes, some are taking them back and giving you credit or other bottles...

I heard you can take your Avent bottles to BabiesRUs and they are giving store credit in the original purchase price amount. But I don't have any bottles to try with so I'm not sure if that is accurate.

The aVent ones I have are from when my 6 yr old used them (more as sippy since she woudldnt take bottles so I dont think I feel right taking those back! too long ago I think ill toss them and start over
