People predict wrong all the time. With an ultrasound, a trained tech should be able to determine the sex of the baby. They are very rarely wrong.

Congrats, with our first child we never had an ultrasound, but I had a gut feeling it was a girl and we had a DD.
With our second child we had an ultrasound and the tech. kept saying here is his this, here is his that and when we asked her if it was a boy she was like I call them all he's and went out of the room. Then when we went to the doctor appt. our dr. kept telling us to think blue. Well before any of this happened I had that gut feeling again and we had a boy. But no matter what we were told we had both names picked out and neutral clothing.

Congrats on your baby girl!!

When I was preggo with my baby the ultrasound tech said she was 85-90% certain that my baby was a girl. Low and behold I had a girl. Because she was not 100% I kept the tags on the majority of the girly clothes. I washed a few pink outfits and all of the neutral toned clothing. I didn't really need more than a few onesies and blankets at first anyway. All the big ticket baby gear items I purchased in gender neutral tones anyway as I planned to have more than one child.

I find that the techs are a little more certain with boys than girls.

Good Luck!!!

We had ultrasounds of both kids, but never wanted to know their sexes. With my first, people "predicted" I was having a boy so much so that during delivery, everyone was saying, "Here he comes. Here's his head," etc. Then, when baby was out, the doctor said, "What's all this HE stuff? It's a girl!"

During my second pregnancy, I thought about the gender a lot less. It just didn't matter. Had a girl

We had both a girl and a boy name figured out both times.

I did not find out with either. My Dr said he knew it was a boy all along. With my daughter, we did not find out either. My Dr did not know for sure until 4 weeks before I had her on my last sonagram. She was modest...lol So, he was right, but I did not know until after delivery and it was hard with the nurses in the office teasing me about knowing the sex and me not....it was all in good fun.....
