I thought it might be fun to see what nursery themes everyone is using.

DS#1 - Disney babies (bedding was a gift from MIL, so we went with it).

DS#2 - Noah's Ark

DS#3 - Noah's Ark

DD - Sailor bears (now she has a fairy room)
Homeschooling Mom to Daniel (12 Years), Andrew (9 Years), Stephen (7 Years) and Emily (3 Years)

Aloha Baby was the name of DS crib set and it was pastel yellow, green, and blue. Everything was Hawaiian - palmtrees, hibiscus flowers, surfboards, sun, etc. One of my friends painted a beach scene on the walls - sand, palm trees, surfboards and Hawaiian shirts. We hung a hammock chair from one of the corners and put stuffed animals in it. For a rug, we used a multi-colored bamboo mat. It was all so cute!

We have classic pooh in both the girls rooms
they do not want to change it either.

I thought the classic pooh they would like as they are older since its

They even have the quilts that match and now I will keep the one room as is for the baby (I even have fans in there rooms that match)

We did a Noah's Ark theme for both kids (it was gender neutral... they had all the same stuff).

DS #1- sailboats
DS #2- Jungle animals
I got the steal of a century on #2's nursery. A friend of a friend was willing to give me her son's entire set (like 15-20 pieces) in PERFECT condition and all I had to pay for was shipping. I spent less than $13 and it is so cute!

We painted t he nursery like a sky with clouds and different shades of blue ceiling too. Both my kids had the same room as a nursery, my oldest moved to another big boy room when we were expecting the baby so we had airplanes for him and angels for her.

Oh my goodness that sounds so adorable!!!

I guess our "theme" was Noah's Ark, though DS is turning 4 in the fall and his bedroom is still white with no decoration whatsoever. I think the theme thing just ended up being the shower, really, and I got a few Noah's Ark blankets and frames and such (and a lot of stuffed animals!). If I had to go back and do it again, I'd pick something more age neutral (like awells did), not necessarily so babyish, and actually decorate the room before the baby came. Of course, that might have been possible had we not been building the house straight up til the day before I went into labor.

My SIL has the right idea. She found a beautiful hand-stitched Amish quilt for her daughter's room, and she's going to do the room off that. The quilt has blue, yellow, purple and white in it with some little flowers. It will be easy to transition from baby to big girl.
