With my last 2 ginger tea from the health food store works great. But do not leave the tea bag in the water to long or it will give you heart burn. Also, I just found some cookies today that have ginger as the second to the last ingrediant but they really helped me today. I just read in a book today about the B6. I will have to try that tomorrow.

On a different note.... if you are nursing and have nursed more than 2 you know that it gets more painful with each child. I have found something that makes that pain immeasurably less. Red raspberry leaf tea. During your last trimester drink a cup about 2 -3 times per week and it will strengthen your uterus. When the baby arrives drink a cup a day for a week.I get the tea at the health food store. It is not raspberry tea.

With my first I used the sea bands and I could survive off of toast and lemonade. With my 2nd I kind of toughed it out for the few weeks I had it. I did eat bread and sip on some lemonade. But with this baby...I've been hit with MS like I've never felt before. Sour stuff, almonds, sea bands, teas..ugh NOTHING works and I just feel miserable. I'd rather just yack than feel like this. And my MS doesn't let up just in the morning hours. I have it all day through-out the day. I go to the Dr. first time for HB and such on Monday and I'm going to talk to my dr. about a prescription or suggestion. Cuz I can't even enjoy my mornings with dh anymore before he's off to work. I lay on the sofa grumbling in the utter thought of getting a whiff of his coffee...and turning green...

The SeaBands kinda helped, but I ended up on Phenergen (drug) most of the pregnancy. I wasn't just nauseous, I was puking non-stop...as in take a sip of water, throw up, eat a cracker, throw up. I don't think I've thrown up as much in my entire life as I did when I was pregnant. I got pretty used to it LOL! I just kept the mouthwash on the floor by the toilet because it was easier to reach there The Phenergen helped about 75% of the time, but it made me really tired.

I just about lived on Zofran during my pregnancy with my son. Phenergan gave me restless legs and made me sleepy. Also used gummy bears (Haribo brand), white corn tortilla chips, ginger ale, gatorade. I kept a bunch of stuff by the bed. Any time I woke up to go to the bathroom, I nibbled on something, that kept my blood sugar up throughout the night.

I have had good luck with plain bottled or filtered water this time around. Before I kept crackers with me all the time, they helped some. I read somewhere that water will help if you just drink it a little at a time, not enough to feel "slushy," and off and on throughout the day. So far it has helped me.

Well I thought I would make it through the first trimester without puking my guts out-I was wrong! Last night was aweful! I've been doing what my midwife told me to do-take 1/2 unisom tablet and a b6 before bed. That's been working pretty good but the past few days my eating habbits have been poor. I really paid for that last night! YUCK! My face always gets these tiny brown dots all over it after I've been throwing up so the whole world knows what I'm doing a thome. Its so embarrassing!

I get those spots too!! I had morning sickness through the first 4 or 5 months of my pregnancy and threw up almost every day for at least the first two months. and I wasnt telling people at work that I was pregnant (my co-workers knew, not the kids I teach or their parents) So they must have thought something was wrong with me all of the time!!!

btw, the spots were probably more embarassing for me when i had them over my entire face for my jr prom...I was extremely sick a week before & you could see it in the pictures & everything!
