I was just reading about how a celeb hated being pregnant, although she loves being a mom. Despite complications, pain, exhaustion, etc., I enjoyed being pregnant...right up to about the 38th week when I felt I needed a wheelbarrow to move and I couldn't breathe. It was one of those few times in my life I could justifiably feel like I could come first; be a princess.

Yes! My first pregnancy I didn't enjoy it ENOUGH and cherish it ENOUGH. So I made up for it with my second pregnancy! And I loved it..but NOTHING like this pregnancy!! I'm enjoying it so much and this one has me with morning sickness all day everyday!! So that's new..but I thought we were done with having children at #2 so this pregnancy is such a wonderful enjoyment as I'm not sure if this is our last or not just yet.
I enjoy it. It's a beautiful process. Many would do anything to be pregnant so I'm one that enjoys it, cherishes it and is thankful to be pregnant!

I loved every minute of it. I felt like I was robbed of my first trimester with DS, as I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 11 weeks along, so for the 6 months I knew, I cherished every moment.

I loved being pregnant. I was happier when I was pregnant, except nearing the end of my second ds. My first ds teased me and came 5 weeks early so the second one really made me pay for that and didn't come until 5 days early! I should have know then he was going to be my strong willed child!
I felt very energetic and very happy to be pregnant. My second ds sat lower in my pelvis which did sometimes get to be uncomfortable, but for the most part I loved everything about my pregnancies.

I am with the celebrity on this one. I really did not like being pregnant. Other than knowing a baby was growing inside me (which is such a miracle), I hated getting fat, the ugly maternity clothes (thankfully they have gotten cuter now), the cravings and nausea not to mention sciatica and horrible pain in my crotch area (with #2). No, not fun. Personally I enjoyed the delivery more. I would honestly go through the delivery 10 times before I would go through the pregnancy again.

I very much enjoyed being pregnant. I eat well, but only gained 18 lbs. My skin was stretched so tight across my belly that when I had ds, I could fit back into my pre-pregnancy jeans the day after I had him, contrary to what the books told me! (I wish I could say I kept it off! )
I only had one bout of morning sickness, and I actually think that it was a urinary tract infection, not morning sickness at all. It was inherited because neither my grandmother nor my mother had morning sickness at all, and as I only have one child, my grandmother and three and my mother had two.
I only showed in my last month, and I continued to do everything I used to do. In fact, I hauled groceries the day before I gave birth and thought nothing of it. I never used the 'pregnant mom' parking spaces, I didn't feel I ever needed them.
But I do have to add that I Did have Awful constipation and heartburn! So it wasn't 100% wonderful, only about 90%!!

I hated it, right up to the end. L&D was the best part, because I got that epidural ASAP and finally wasn't in pain or sick. I told DH the whole time if I could take the baby out and grow her in an incubator, I'd do it. Course, yeah, I had a pretty messed up pregnancy anyway, but I was so miserable the whole time, I just hated it. I hated having to end up in the hospital almost every other week, I hated having to be admitted (though the ambulance ride from one hospital to the other was cool).
Of course now, DD is so wonderful and fun that we are considering trying for #2, well, we kinda did last night That will be the limit though for me. Obviously I can't have appendicitis again since they did the surgery on me (at 6 months!), but it seems like the heart issue was preg related, and I had hypermerensis that had to be treated with meds, and a LOT of pain and misery.

I did enjoy my second pregnancy better than my first. I had less fears and concerns the second time which I think made it more enjoyable.

I was talking about this With a Friend the Other Day.
I Think the ability to Love and enjoy pregnancy has alot to do with other things going on in your life.
With DS # 1 I Was already a SAHM , Older dd was 6 yrs. old and in school all Day, I was Young , only 23 - So I Felt GREAT! If I Felt ill, so What ?? I Rested!
DD#2 - I Felt 100% worse and I Wanted it OVER!! I Was also Chasing around a 3 yr. old and Dealing with some Financial Issues ... It was not a Good Time for Us! I Think everything in this Pregnancy was Worse.
DS# 3- WOW - I Was 30 yrs. Old and I Waitressed till I Was 37 weeks Pregnant! I Felt Great! But I Also Had it easier when I Was at Work.
Unlike here with the demands of a Family and Housework , When I Actually Went to Work I had it easy! People tipped Better , Cause I think they felt Sorry for me and the other Servers were Awesome to me too. So That Made me feel better , and I Had a Good Pregnancy that I Cherished , Cause I knew It was Going to Be my last!!
