My baby is 9 months and breastfeeding has been a great experience but I am thinking of starting to wean him because he will be one in no time and I know the process is going to be tough because he likes it. He won't take a bottle from me but will from DH. Any tips for weaning?

no tips, but if you and him still like it, keep it up, you've done a great job so far and the benefits for both you and him are still there! :-)

I nursed mine till they were on whole milk. It seemed the natural order of things. Neither of them would take a bottle, so They went from 3 nursing times to two and a warm cup of milk then the following wee 1 and 2 cups of warm milk. Then to just warm milk then to cooler milk. Worked for us.

i breast feed mine till 1 and 9 months as started a gradual breastfeeding. slowly elimate one feeding. The last one at night was the hardest because it was comforting. There are many benifits to breastfeeding past one dont let this american society sway you but you have to do what is best for you. good luck

Just do it slow. It took me several months, because I gradually shortened the feedings, then removed one at a time. Good luck!

What is your reason for wanting to wean?
