I've read that you need to be careful of what kind of acne medicine you use, but how about other topical creams? I bought this stretch mark cream from Avon a week before I found out I was pregnant. I bout it mostly b/c I got stretch marks on the back of my knees when I was pregnant with DD and I want them gone. Should I use it or stay away?

I have the Clinical Stretch Mark cream and (I think) AVON Solutions Stretch Mark smoother and use both of them.

I have some stretch marks on my hips from previous pregnancies and do not want any new ones.. (fingers crossed)

I haven't had any problems with it.. I also use the Clearskin product line from AVON as far as acne treating...it works great.

I'd stay away from stretch mark creams. Many contain caffeine, which, of course is absorbed through your skin...a little bit is a lot for a baby.

As far as acne things, many are in question. Salicylic acid is supposed to be safe, but I'd check w/your doctor to ensure there's not new info out there.
