DH told me about this. He pointed out that from a male perspective, it is just more comfy anyway. So definately make sure for your little muffin's comfort, his equipment is pointing downwards.

Yeah, the nurses didn't tell me about pointing it down, but my dh figured that out right away! That was really the only difference I could remember, except that taking care of the circumsision (sp) wasn't half as bad as I thought!

If you choose that option, remember to take all of the 2x2's that they leave in your room and ask for another tube of petroleum jelly. It's much easier to use than the pot.
