Did any of you all have a pregnancy test come up negative and find out later that you actually were pregnant? I'm 3-4 days late, which I am never late..it's the one and only thing I can count on to be on time! But I took a pregnancy test this morning and it came out negative. It's driving me crazy not knowing if I could be or if my period is just late for some strange reason!

Nope. My period was 8 weeks late in May & negative tests - ironically the morning I was to go to the doc to try to figure out what was wrong, my period started back up.

There are several women on here who that's happened to, but I'm not one of them.

Try taking another test. A different brand or even just using a different stick can actually give you a different result.

Here's a great website to help anser questions about HPT. POAS ~ HPT FAQ I have the link going directly to the FAQ page. I hope you can find some answers and let us know what ends up happening!

Yep-it can happen! I had two or three false negatives with my last pregnancy before I finally got a positive.

Yep, this time! I knew I was pregnant, there is just that pregnant feeling!! I waited a few weeks then took another test and went to the dr.

Was your life super stressful around two weeks ago? If so (and you have around a 28-30 day cycle) you could have ovulated late and it'd throw off your new cycle start.

I'd wait another week and test again if nothing happens. I was super duper regular and then in June I suddenly had a 42 day cycle. Out of the blue. I was normal last month and probably will be this month as well. Turns out, I counted back the days, and though nothing major happened 14 days into my cycle, I was dealing with planning my BIL's wedding, so I guess it was stressful enough to throw my ovulation off.

Best of luck - hope you get the result you want!

Okay, so it finally came 6 days late, so it appears the test was right! I would have been okay with either result, just happy to finally know which result it is!

Well, at least you KNOW for sure. Thanks for the update, I've been wondering.
