I did at 7-8 weeks, did the total panic, called the doc, and they immediately did blood tests and then an ultrasound a few days later. All was fine. My friend who was pregnant a few months after me also spotted at 8 weeks, and again, called the doc, did blood tests and then ultrasound, and then was fine.

It's normal to be worried, and it's good to try and get to your doctor Hope everything made it through Fay ok!

alot of women spot during pregnancy

as long as it is light spotting, I would not worry too much. Though stay off your feet and relax, don't do anything strenuous.

sorry about FAY, we've been "out" of the loop too since she rained on us.

I never had spotting until I lost my plug, and I haven't this time around either. But I keep reading that it's normal. Take it easy, and keep track of the frequency, consistency, color, etc for your dr.

I did during the first trimester with my last four pregnancies, all of which went to term. One time it lasted 2 weeks.

I did. I think it was around 8 weeks? cant remember for sure. It was bc I had slight placenta previa which completely corrected itself before my 20 wk ultrasound. the dr gave me no special instructions when i called in a panic...but I chose to leave work early that day bc i was so stressed! good luck!

I had spotting with one pregnancy when I contracted the flu and had violent vommiting. I went to the hospital and found that everything was okay by ultrasound. They didn't keep me for observation or anything, just gave me an IV and sent me home.

Hope everything is well for you, too.

I had spotting with my first -- I figured it was pretty normal and it was but it still freaked me out. But light spotting is pretty normal though I would mention it to my doctor.

Also the doctor usually has an after hours number that you can call.
