My husband enrolled Logan (14 months) in Diaper Daredevils today at gymnastics. It is a parent / baby combined class. I can't wait until next week and we take him ... of course currently we're "debating" over which one of us will take him!

That sounds fun!

One of the downfalls of living in such a small town means we don't have all those types of activities. I guess it's ok because they don't really know what they are missing, but I would love to be involved in more activities with them.

We started going to storytime at the library and doing playgroup through the Moms Club when ds was 8 months old. Then when he was 11 months we started Kindergym (an informal gymboree activity where there is no teacher, just tons of climbing, slides, etc). Now that ds is 2 we are going to a Toddler Time class once a week too, which is like a pre-preschool class with structured play and circle time, and I have to stay.

I did the same thing with the girls. I also plan on doing the same in a few months with this baby (it is the only thing that forces me to get out and meet new people ~I am so bad at that and dont like to bother others and this is a class so I figure im not bothering since i pay and all

the class sounds fun! maybe you both can take turns taking logan!

We put Riley in swimming lessons around 2. We tried 1 class of gymnastics but it was so full we didn't go back.

I currently take my 41/2 month old daughter to Gymboree classes 3 times a week. She enjoys the class very much and I like the interaction with other moms with babies. I would really like to find other activities or classes to taker her to but I don't know where to look.
