at my house?? I am so sleep deprived!
dd who is 11 months still is not sleeping through the night.
she lays down fine at 7, then wakes up 2 times a night, at diff times... then up at 6 am
she is still nursing, she is a peanut compared to her sister. but she should be sleeping so mommy can!

Both of my children were / are awful sleepers. When it was just my daughter, I chalked it up to that was just how she was. But seeing that my son is just as bad ... well I've decided it probably is a tribute to my parenting abilities (just can't leave those babies alone when they cry and fuss at night ) and the fact that I am a light sleeper.

I've looked around for the magic fairy dust myself a few times in the middle of the night! Or an off switch built into those babies. Why don't they come with an off switch!

Since my children sleep well through the night, I decided to get a puppy.
Someone please smack me!!
Sorry you're sleep deprived. Are you giving her oatmeal or something filling for dinner? That seemed to help my girls.

funny about your puppy! LOL (((SMACK)))
she cannot eat cereal types of food cause she has a pooping problem, unless it is cheerios
so I don't give her much other than fruit and veg
I honestly don't think she is hungary, she does not nurse that long, more of a comfort thing. she has a paci, and she throws it at me when she does not want it, usually in the middle of the night.
I have "super-nannied" her, to get her to bed. I say "bedtime" and she wimpers and goes to sleep, I just seem to lose my brain at 2 am and give in

don't shoot me but sand man lives at my house and has been sprinkling his pixie dust on my 10 month dd. she has been sleeping through the night since 6 weeks. i used cereal on both my ds's and it seemed to help. good luck. no sleep stinks.

My oldest would wake up and want to be rocked. I would sit in the rocker with her for 45 minutes and she would cry as soon as I laid her down. I finally had to stop giving in.
It is so hard. Hugs to you!

what did you do then? I can take 3-4 nights of crying, as long as I know it is going to pay off in the long run KWIM? but this girl screamed for 2 hours LOL another 2 minutes and she would have been to sleep

It is not easy but you have to let her soothe herself back to sleep. Otherwise, you will probably still be doing this when she is five years old. I hid in the basement until the crying stopped. I would sit down there and cry, too.
