I was wondering if any of you have had a similar problem. I have a rash under my breasts. I didn't have this when I was pregnant with my son (6) and the other is atually my step son. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I noticed this rash under one side, so I put some powder with cornstarch on it thinking it would help. It didn't seems to so I started putting hydocortizone cream on it at night only, and powder during the day when it started itching. Now it is begining under the other side. It is red and itches, the itching gets worse when I get hot, and the skin will peel a little (like when you are sunburned) it doesn't hurt. This is the only time I have ever had this issue, I was wondering if it has anything to do with me being pregnant since it has never happened before. I am 10 weeks. Any ideas??

Funny you should ask this. I had this really pretty bad about a month or more ago and when I had my physical a few weeks ago I showed my doctor (it was already better). She said it was just a fungal type heat rash. I had used some cortizone cream on it and some antifungal (actually athlete's feet med) on it, and I went braless as much as I could. My doctor advised me to use an antifungal powder on it...again, she said like athlete's feet powder. I never did buy the powder because mine was already so much better, but it still occasionally will itch and bug me. It itched and burned quite a bit when I first found it and was a sort of dark red, almost purplish rash. Hope that helps!!

Maybe you could try some Aloe on it. Or some diaper rash cream? I know that sounds weird, but I had a strange rash on my leg. I put a little of that on it and it went away.

Aloe will Burn like heck! But it will stop itching it will just burn for a bit. I think anti fungal cream would work.

I had the same thing when I was pregnant with ds, my doctor told me it was a heat rash and told me to use a specific lotion.... anyways the lotion ended up making me more itchy

I have it too and have tried a gazillion things to get it to go away. I just chalk it up to yucky pregnancy stuff and keep going. I'm really looking forward to having my babies so I can be rid of things like this. Sorry. Hang in there.

I get something similar under my breasts as well, but the cortizone cream and baby powder work for me...
I am bit (ok...a lot) pudgy and my tummy will get a similar rash "under" it. I have used Gold Bond medicated powder and it works wonders.... It doesn't smell too good, so I would use it at night when I was going to bed... I would give it a try or like others said, the antifungal cream works too.
Good luck....I hope it goes away soon.

Thank you ladies! I bought some gold bond powder. It has really helped, I think it is just about gone. We had some anti fungal cream but I didn't use it because I don't like the way the other cream felt, but if the powder didn't help that was next. Thanks for all the help!
