Have you ever entered your baby in Pretty Baby Contests or Baby Olympics?

These are huge fundraisers in our area, and they get excellent turnouts. I've never entered any of my kids in these contests, something DH and I decided when our oldest was born and everyone started pushing for us to enter.

What do you think about these types of events?

I've thought about it - same here, people pushing to "model" her or whatever, and I'm just not keen on the idea. I dunno. I see those child pageant shows and think "NO WAY!"

I haven't entered her in anything like that. I entered her in a photo/modeling contest once and I am embarassed to admit that I was disappointed when she didn't win.

I don't like them. I don't see how anyone is qualified to decide that one baby or child is cuter then another. I KNOW my kids are adorable and I don't need them to win a contest to prove it.

I don't like them either! But I don't like contests at any age where people are judged by their appearance.
