Hey Guys,

Have you all found any good veg websites? I'm looking for recipes, health and animal issues, and ways to hook up with local vegetarians.

These are the ones I use a lot:

vegkitchen.com
molliekatzen.com

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Annie

I love Mollie Katzen's books. We make the Fresh Corn Chowder all the time! It's my dh's favorite soup!

Here's another site I use quite a bit: http://vegweb.com/

If it's a particular recipe I'm looking for, then I'll usually google vegetarian (or vegan) corn chowder recipe. I've found some really yummy recipes that way.

Hi fellow veggie-lovers

I have quite a few recipe sites that I love

www.fatfreevegan.com is great, the recipes are well catagorized and she adds new recipes through her blog frequently

www.diseaseproof.com is a blog about healthy eating that occasionally features recipes -- there is a link on the left that will take you to just the recipe posts

I like the post punk kitchen occasionally though they kind of illustrate that just because they're veggie doesn't necessarily mean healthy lots of cupcake recipes -- www.theppk.com

Sometimes I check out www.veganconnection.com

Also;
www.veganchef.com/recipes.htm
http://www.veganfusion.com/recipes.php
http://www.veganmania.com/recipes/
http://www.bryannaclarkgrogan.com/page/page/579094.htm
Bryanna Clark Grogan also frequently posts recipes to her blog here;
http://veganfeastkitchen.blogspot.com/

Well those are the sites I go to most often along with about a ton of food blogs that often post recipes.

Thank you so much for the websites!

I love the post punk kitchen and the vegan chef! I love all of the sweets they offer.

I am going to go surfing for a supper idea now.

Thanks!

I just found the Post Punk Kitchen and am in love!! I ended up buying "Vegan With a Vengeance," and it just has wonderful recipes in it. I've made several of them, and each one has turned out really good.

Here are a few blogs I've stumbled upon lately that have really good ideas:

I surf People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA): The animal rights organization a lot and they have lots of recipes and links
VegCooking: Vegetarian Recipes, Products, Restaurants, and Much More! is their site also.
