Jaw Drop Tater Tot Casserole for Vegetarians!!!

1 chopped onion
2 stalks chopped celery
2 Tbs olive oil
1 can condensed cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
3 Tbs milk
1 package frozen frozen tater tots
1 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese


Saute onion and celery in oil until tender.
Set aside to cool slightly.
Add soup, garlic powder, pepper, and half and half,mixl.
Add 3/4 of frozen tater tots and toss well.
Spray a 9x13 with pam.
Put saved tots over top.
Cover with cheese.
Bake at 350 45 to 50 minutes til cheese is melted.


I play with this recipe....I always add veggies...corn,peas,sauteed peppers and onions-anything goes good w/it so just get creative w/your favorites!!!

Thanks Sarah.....I really appreciate it.........nothing is more motivational than a nice compliment

I am sooooo thankful to everyone in this section....everyone contributes alot..even reviews are really helpful to everyone who may be considering trying a recipe.....so thanks again!!!

Thanks!! I really do appreciate the recipes. Sometimes I just feel that I am in a rut and some new recipes are so nice to try. It's a great feeling when I find another one to add into the rotation!! I grew up the only veggie in my household so I often just ate the sides and it wasn't until I was married that I really started to look for actual recipes. I am not one that really knows how to "add this" or "change that" and wish I was! Had the leftovers of this for lunch today! So good!!

dh read ther recipe over my shoulder and told me to write it out and we shall try it...it does look mighty tasty.
