We tried the Hearty Meatless Chili in the "Saving Money with Vegetarian Meals" article in Mommysavers. It was very good, and it definitely hearty. We made it with red lentils because that is what we had on hand (plus I like them better because the taste is more mild). We served it with shredded sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream and sliced avocado. We had the leftovers last night and it got even thicker overnight. This time we made a batch of cornbread to go with it. My husband and I both "doctor" the chili up with Louisana hot sauce, but the kids prefered it with cheese and sour cream. Thanks for great recipe.
