My son's babysitter gave me this recipe years ago and I have been making it ever since. My kids love this! You can make it without the ricotta if your family doesn't like ricotta. Just add another 1/2 c of parmesan (you will need to add more olive oil to the mixture so the parmesan cheese sticks to the pasta).

1lb broccoli, cooked until just tender, do not overcook (can be fresh or frozen)
1 lb pasta (any shape)
1c ricotta cheese
1/2c grated parmesan
olive oil
3-4 cloves of garlic depending on how much you like garlic

Cook broccoli & pasta separately & drain. In meantime, mince the garlic and slowly cook it in 3T olive oil until the garlic is soft. Add the cooked, drained broccoli to the garlic & stir well. Season with salt & pepper if desired. Mix the pasta, broccoli & garlic, ricotta and 1/2 c parmesan cheese. Serve.
