Welcome to Mommysavers! I'm Kim Danger creator of Mommysavers.com. I live in Southern Minnesota with my husband Scott; daughter, age 9; and son, age 5. I started Mommysavers in March 2000 while I was at home on maternity leave after having my first child. Having been raised on coupon clipping and garage sale shopping, frugality comes naturally to me. I enjoy making something out of next-to-nothing, finding great deals, and passing on those ideas to other moms. I am in charge of putting the Mommysavers newsletter together each week and helping provide frugal direction to the forums and site in general.

I'm Christy. I am the Co-Admin for Mommysavers. I help moderate the Online Bargains and the Mind, Body and Soul forums. I also help manage the contests on the site. If you have questions, comments or suggestions you'd like to make about your MS account, the forums, the contests, or the programs we offer here please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm here to help. On a more personal note, I'm a proud navy pilot's wife and mom to 2 boys. Mommysavers has been like a second home to me since 2003.

I am Addimom. I moderate: Special Needs &Trying to Conceive. My Favorite Mommysaver memory: Spend less than you earn and teach your children to do the same. The most useful Mommysaver tip: Before MommySavers, I was a bit more "head in the sand" about our finances. I knew I wanted to be a better steward of the resources we have, as a family, but I was not doing my part to help manage things. I used to fear the knowledge of our financial situation. (I have no idea why.) Now I embrace it. It is very empowering. So my tip is pretty simple...know what you have (or don't have) and manage it to the best of your ability. Why you like being a moderator? I love the friendships and being able to give back to something that has helped me so much.

Hi, I'm Annie'sMom. I help out in the bargain hunting forums. I have a daughter, and one more child on the way! We never had much money growing up, so bargain hunting was ALWAYS a necessity, even before it was popular or even as easy as it is now. These days, even in "times of plenty," I still can't resist a good bargain! There is just no reason to pay twice as much for something, if you can find a way to get for less! That's what he are about here and I'm really happy to be part of the team and I love helping you and your family "live well for less."

I am AyeOhKay, also known as Angela, a 36-year-old SAHM. I enjoy home teaching our four children. Prior to starting my family, I was senior researcher for a start-up dental materials company where I did FDA compliance, manufacturing, patent work and materials research. I have a BS in Professsional Chemistry. I was let go from this job when I announced my first pregnancy and, thus, started my frugal and fun adventure! I left the world of offices and chemistry labs and became completely immersed in everything family. I have worked as an on-call lactation counselor and enjoyed volunteering my time with several family-oriented non-profit organizations.

I reside in southern Indiana with my wonderful DH of 17 years. Our family enjoys tent camping and fishing, studying martial arts (I have a brown belt), and playing board games. I especially enjoy reading, traveling domestically and watching movies. I happened upon Mommysavers while searching for online shopping codes and have enjoyed the site ever since! I became a moderator in 2007. I moderate the Baby & Family Matters Forums. In January 2008, I was diagnosed with gliolblastoma multiforme (a malignant brain tumor) After having five operations and radiation with chemotherapy, I am now in a maintenenace chemotherapy program to keep the residual tumor from progressing. We enjoy our frugal and fun family life here in rural Southern Indiana.

I'm Cookie2, the newbie to the moderator world. However, I'm not new when it comes to saving money. I used to have a personal clothing limit of $15 per item and the kids had a limit of $5 per item (coats $10). I often think about going back to that system.

I have been married to my dh, Wes for 2 years and 4 months. I work full-time out of the house but love to spend as much time at home figuring out new ways to save even more money so that I can cut back on my hours at work eventually. Hi, I'm Kellynkay (Kelli) and have been a member of mommysavers since Spring 2003. During that time I've moderated several forums, but currently you can find me in the Kitchen. I'm a SAHM, wife to a wonderful DH, and mom to 4 beatufiul girls. We live on a small farm in Southern MN. "Rural" is rather new to us as we moved from the city with the goal of breeding and raising Alpacas. That goal has been set aside, however, at least for awhile. In effort to save money and stay healthier we are now working toward raising or growing most of our own food. My main hobby is papercrafting (cards & scrapping) but I also enjoy gardening, canning, and sewing =). Oh ~also a huge HUGE movie fan!

I live in a semi-small Minnesota town where you know all your neighbors, that's what my family loves about it. In my spare time I like to garden (veg. & flower), go to thrift stores, garage sales, check out antiques, enter craft items at out county fair, sign up for freebies/samples and use coupons to save money. How to navigate mommysavers

I'm a 47 year old single male that needs help with coupon clipping, money saving ideas. Why can't you ever find coupons for the food you actually eat?

I guess that depends on what you actually like to eat There are coupons for EVERYTHING these days, even vegetarian or organic stuff. If you visit our couponing forum, we can show you what is available. In our Grocery forum, We show you the best deals for your favorite store, and where to find the coupons to go with it. In our Money saving Food forum, we discuss all sorts of ways to make your foods last longer, how to get them cheaper, or how to be more creative with what you do have.
