Hi. I'm new to this discussion forum. I used to belong to another frugal forum years ago but got away from it and I'm looking for a new internet home.

I'm custodial grandma of an adorable 5-yr old little girl. We've had custody for the last 3 years and are in the process of adopting her. My hubby, the little one and I live in the Boise, Idaho area with our dog and bunny.

I'm pretty much a SAHM. I do work as a teleservices agent out of my home office and sometimes sell AVON (which isn't very profittable.) I've lived frugally and simply for many, many years. I'm a great fan of The Tightwad Gazette and find myself still referring to it. Before DGD (dear-granddaughter) came into our lives we thought we were semi-retired. All that went out the window! Now hubby works 3/4 time and most of that means business travel.

Those are most of the highlights from my life.

Welcome!!! I am the mom of 7 and grandmom of one. I have guardianship of my grandson, so he is with us everyother week. With his other grandparents the other weeks.
