Hi! I'm a mommy of 2 girls, ages 3.5 years and 7 months old in New Jersey. We are currently in the process of building a new house and we are due to close on it this summer. I've all the sudden ended up out of work on disability because I need back surgery next month. I have to say that having 2 girls for me has been a blessing and a curse all at the same time. I can't resist all the cute little girl things I see and I have racked up a pretty good credit card bill (just cut up my credit cards yesterday) doing that.

I need some help managing my spending or atleast spending more appropriately.

Also need advice on how to decorate/furnish a BIG house on a budget. We are building this huge house (which is now out of our budget since my salary is gone and disability pays NOTHING compared to what I was making) and have pretty much nothing that goes with the interior decor.

Has anyone else had a serious spending problem and gotten it under control? I'm sick of DH yelling at me for all the cute girly stuff I come home with almost every day.

Thanks!
Kim
