Hello out there! I just came across this forum and decided to stay a while. I am currently pregnant with TRIPLETS and on bedrest for a few months, so I will be unable to work. We're excited about the babies and also petrified! One baby is an added expense, but 3 is unbelievable, especially since I am on leave without pay. Plus I have a 21 month old boy. Does anyone know of any aid for parents expecting multiples? I've heard they are out there, but haven't had much luck finding them. Thank you!

Check to see if you have a Mothers of Multiples in your area - they should be a good resource. Also, do some googling. I do know that some manufacturers have programs to help parents of triplets and above, but didn't ingest who they were - I think a stroller company like Graco was one, and I'm pretty sure one of the diaper companies did.

Welcome and WOW! 3! You're very lucky!

If you contact companies directly, like Pampers, Similac and such I'm sure they'd be happy to help.

Hopefully some other multiples moms can chime in!

Again Welcome!

I believe that Pampers has a spot on their website if you are having multiples. They will provide diapers and such for a while. I have never had multiples but have a friend who has twins and they keep her hopping!! Congratulations and welcome!!!

Thank you for all the congrats, welcomes, and input! :-)

I just feel so overwhelmed! Happy, but also overwhelmed! The babies are due in May (right when my son turns 2). My fiance's mother will help out and only lives 10 minutes away, but my mother and I no longer speak to each other, which is very sad for me because I would have loved to have her involved. I sent her a letter when she didn't return my calls telling her about the babies, but no reply. Its very sad because we are all that is left of my family, since my father died a year ago and my brother died in July in a car accident. Its been a rough year, but to me these babies bring new hope and life to my life. I know my fiance will help out tremendously. I've been looking into work at home or home business ops but they all look like scams to me! I don't see why I should pay someone to work for them! I have my little website that brings in a little bit, but definitely not enough to live on! Sorry about the little rant n my soapbox: , but it does worry me a lot which is what I do not need right now! My blood pressure is already an issue, putting me in the hospital overnight last week.

Anyway, I will get to work on all these great ideas you've given me and go from there. I appreciate all the help!

Welcome! Congratulations on your triplets! I'm sorry about your relationship with your mom - but at least you know that you tried to reach out. It sounds like the ball is in her court now.

I would definitely visit all the baby sites, pampers, huggies, similac, enfamil, etc. If there isn't anything clearly out there for a mom of multiples - then email them. I think BRU might even have a discount on 2nd items for moms of multiples. GL!
