Hi! I'm Missy mom to six month old DD Aubrey. I've been married to my honey for five years. Being a mommy is the best thing that's ever happened to me.

I am currently a working mom hoping to become a stay at home mom within the next few months. Any words of wisdom from moms who've made the transition would be appreciated! Has anyone ever made the switch without having all the kinks in their budget worked out?

Hi Missy and welcome to mommysavers! I am in the boat with you. I am a working mommy who is transforming life to be a SAHM. I will be working my contract out at work - which will end in October so we are saving all we can now and living only on DH's paycheck - socking mine away to savings and paying the bills we won't have when I'm home (babysitting, etc)

That would be my advice. Start now living on your hubby's check and put yours into savings and an emergency fund.

Good luck and if you want to chat about it some more feel free to PM me.
