Hello all you mommies! I am new to this board. I got started on this board the other day when I did a generic search on the internet to find out how to recycle my daughter's broken crayons. A link to this site came up and told me how to melt them down to get more use from them. It worked like a charm and not to mention that my daughter thought I rocked! She took them to school and all the kids wanted some! I am a NEW stay at home mom due to not being able to afford the $1200 a month daycare for my nine year old and two month old. I was part time and I would have paid daycare more than I brought home at the end of the month and that didn't include gas for the 40 minute drive to work and then another 40 minutes back!! But I am loving it and loving being at home to see my baby do all his firsts. And not to mention my daughter screamed in delight when she found out I would not be returning to work!

Welcome, isn't that a great feelling to know that your kiddos are so excited to have you around more! I don't know if the thread you found said once you melt them down you can put them in molds and make them fun shapes. We got one shaped as a heart for Valentine's day and I thought that was such a cute idea.
