I somehow wandered into this site and joined as I need to find friends and people I can relate to since I have been a sahm since my son was born 7 yrs ago. I always worked before and I am older than most (49) and have been married and divorced before marrying my dh of almost 10 yrs now. We both have children from previous marriages who are grown and this one son we have together is pretty much an "only." I would have loved to had more, even though he was actually my 4th, but I had a terrible pregnancy and delivery and was way to afraid to try again...now I feel bad that he's being raised alone but we have to move on.

I homeschool our son and love my time with him but we need for me to badly go back to work since we have more debts than we can manage to pay with my dh's paycheck. I'm praying and hoping by coming here I can get some ideas or tips to help us manage bills better and/or ideas on ways to make extra money at home so I dont have to go back to work full time and stop homeschooling my son. We both really love the flexibility and all the hands on experience he's getting with homeschooling and I just wish I had some talent I could put to use to make money to help dh out but I dont know what it would be.

You will find a lot of helpful tips on this board. I have used quite a bit of them. I work full-time outside of the home, and have 2 boys ages 10 and 6.
