Hey everyone, I am a mommy to a four month old and am fixing to quit my job in about 6-8 weeks (depending on if we need that last check...) to stay home with him. Our income will be dropping about $1,000.00 per month so I am on a mission to save money! I am looking forward to every second of it too!

Welcome! Staying home is a wonderful choice if you can do it. I found that my staying home did make up for over $1,000 when you added up daycare, dry cleaning, lunches, wardrobe (stockings are expensive!) and simple stress!! (Regret having to cut the housecleaning service, though). Everyone is different. I am SAHM after working for over 20 yrs outside the home - late bloomer, first child came when I was 38. I have two - six year old boy and 1 year old diva. Children are so easy to fall in love with, and every time you start to miss the age they are growing out of, they do something to make you proud of the age they are growing in to.
