I found this site while looking up frugal recipes for a co-worker who is really struggling. I can't say that I am frugal. I am queen of the bargains though. My daughter loves designer clothes and out of necessity I have made shopping a sport. I love to cook when I have the time but I refuse to eat a casserole of any kind. Child of the 70's tuna surprise! lol!
My husband and I both drive old cars but he gets parts wholesale and is very mechanical. We make sure they look new though.


I thought I would join to get new ideas and for the mom networking. Currently my husband is working two full time jobs to catch up on bills and to pay for my 14 year old daughter's cheerleading and choir expenses along with to make our 9 year old son's dream of going to Disneyland come true. So any ideas on gift giving, crafts, decorating or shopping are welcome.

Welcome! I've only been coming here for a few months, but in that time, I've learned SO much about myself and trying to save money! We live on a paycheck to paycheck basis, which really stinks when your husband only gets paid twice a month! I must say, I LOVE this board, I'm hooked and having a great time.
