Hi, there!
I was a sahm for four years, then 9/11 hit and my pilot husband was furloughed. So, I went back to work. I've been in the teaching field since that time. I am soooooo wanting to do it again and I think I will be doing it after this school year! Yippeee!

My children are currently in the 3rd and 5th grades. My husband is still a pilot, but hopefully soon to be a corporate airline pilot.

I'm always looking for frugal tips!

Hi! I have a friend in the same position as you. Her hubby is also a pilot. Welcome to the board. I'm sure you will find it very helpful.

It is very rewarding being able to stay home... but it can be quite drainning at times. I found i love working part time. It helps keep my sanity and i get some adult interaction. Welcome to the group and hope to "see" you around the forums!

Welcome, I am also a teacher who recently decided to Stay home. I love staying home with my daughter. I was lucky enough to find a part time position to work from home. It won't make us rich, but it will help ease the transition to one full time income. Good Luck!
