Hi! My husband and I are planning to be parents before too long. We've been married for almost two years now, and would like to start trying to conceive in a year. Right now we're in the Saving Money stage! I've been reading The Tightwad Gazette and am looking forward to finding more frugal information here.

I like to read about saving money on baby items-- I get excited about the baby joy to come!-- and I learned about mommysavers through the Kimberly Danger's baby bargains book.

Kimberly, reading Baby Bargains has made me feel so much less nervous about the cost of having a baby. I went shopping looking for a gift for a friend's new baby, and I got serious sticker shock! I really don't want to have to leave our (future) baby in someone else's care all day. Reading Baby Bargains made me feel significanlty better, as I learned about ways to save big bucks on gear, clothing, diapers, etc. I feel empowered learning to be as thrifty as possible, for now and for the future. Thank you!!
