Hi all,
I'm so glad I discovered this site! I am a SAHM of 2 (a 5 yo dd & an almost 3 yo ds). I run my own business from home that has a plethora of challenges that I am constantly working to overcome. My DH of 10 years and I just bought an old century home in the country that we're finding is costing WAY more than we bargained for. The debt has been piling up for too long and now it's time to get it under control. Both my DH and myself have been quite careless with our money and are now feeling it greatly. I'm hoping that through my participation on this board we will learn how to manage our finances and get out of debt for good! We both want to be good stewards of our money and teach our kids how to live a debt free life. I will gladly accept any tips & pointers on how to be more frugal!

How did you find Mommysavers? I did it by googling "Living Well on Less" and I found this wonderful place.

I found the site through a facebook ad - funny thing was - I wasn't looking for that kind of info at that moment. I think God knew I needed to find the site! I've just started the Forget the Joneses Project and have begun the 21 day spending freeze (day 2 - whoohoo!). But, looking in my cubboard, there's no way we'll make it 21 days without doing groceries for more than just the basics milk & bread! Who knows though, maybe it will last longer than I think! ;-) I think it's a fantastic idea and I'm really looking forward to learning more about frugal living.

That's SO cool! I just started running that ad about a week ago. I'm so glad you saw it at the right time!
