Hey Ya'll from Savannah (did you catch that Paula Dean reference?)

I've always tried to get good deals, but somewhere along the way I stopped being as thrifty as I could be. And I got really out of practice!

I am currently a sahm (of 2 adorable little girls) and desperately trying to keep it that way and not have to go to work outside of the home. (I do teach two mornings at my children's pre-school, but I'd rather not do any more than that!)

Any tips and suggestions ya'll have for living frugally will be so appreciated.

What's your favorite tip to a newbie?

Favorite tip? Hmmm...There are so many I have learned here!

Two of the main things I do that probably save me the most money are using Vinegar solutions for cleaning and matching coupons to the ads of our local grocery stores.

Hi and welcome! I am a newbie myself so I dont really have much to offer yet...but I am LOVING all the advice on here, especially on money!

One of my personal faves is...I NEVER spend $1 bills. If I get them, I save them. Adds up quickly to put towards bills and whatever else we may need!
