Not sure if anyone can relate to this but here it is:
I am a Mom of 4: 3 girls and a boy. That part is normal-but the rest isn't......
My oldest DD is almost 19, then next DD is 15, next DD is 13.....then whoops! there he is DS Seth at 2 years old!!! Here is the next whoops: I'm going to be a Grandma in December-yes, I have a child I'm trying to potty train and I will be a Grandma!!!! My life is not in the least normal. I have been a SAHM since my 1st DD was born-I have worked part-time to make ends meet off and on. I love saving money on everything! Garage sales and auctions are my kind of weird fun. Today, I'm in a dilemma-I need groceries. Do I go to Walmart and get everything or go to Save a Lot-just the name of the store thrills me!!!!!!
I need bread-do I go to the 3 for $1 store in hopes that they have some? Or do I just grab it at the grocery store. These types of questions just make my life crazier than I already am. Why can't I just be that type of woman who goes to the store and reguardless of money, buys things she wants just out of pure joy for providing a meal for her family? Nope-it would eat away at my inner being if I didn't go after the thrill of the hunt-the hard way-the biggest bargain. I need therapy. I know this is crazy-but is there anyone out there like me?

There is actually is another mom on here with several grown or almost grown children and a one year old!! Her name is medic_mama!! Look for her. As for me, I am Jennifer, a stay at home mom who has been having babies since I turned 18. LITERALLY! I have six...ages 17, 12, 10, 5, 3, and 2. My oldest is going to start college in the fall...the same time my baby starts preschool. If she even THINKS about making me a grandma anytime soon, I'm gonna' beat her over the head, though!!! LOL WELCOME..there are TONS of great ideas on here for being frugal..and a whole lot of us who know what it means to shop multi grocery stores for the savings!!

Well, I have a 20 yr old, forever 6.5 yr old (died in Oct 96), 13 yr old, 8.5 yr old, 7.5 yr old, 6.5 yr old, 3.5 yr old and a 2 yr old grandson!!!!! My 20 yr old no longer lives at home, but calls me 20 times a day and my grandson does live with me! I also work full time as a nursing assistant. So, yeah, I understand the crazy life part!!!
