Newbie me

I'm like brand spankin' new here and I don't mean to bother anyone but I've tried and can't figure it out -

What do dh, ds, and dd stand for? Lol, I've seen these and other abbreviations in a lot of posts and it's starting to bug me

LOL (laugh out loud!) That took me forever...and I finally had to ask, too! Even now I stumble across a few I have to ask about!!

dh is "dear husband"...most of the time..occasionally, the "d" is something else!

dd is dear daughter
ds is dear son
mil is mother in law
etc!!!
Oh and HTH is "hope this helps"!!

You'll find alot of abbreviations. It takes me a minute to figure some of them out.

What I meant to say was, thx ladies for filling me in on the abbreviations. I would have never guessed the 'd' stood for 'dear.'
