Hello to everyone. I just joined today and am looking forward to getting familiar with the board.

I am from Mississippi, married to my dh for 12 years (next month) and we have three beautiful stairsteps: dd 8, ds 7, and dd 6 (next week). We also have a "part-time" 12 year old ds from a nearby children's home that we sponsor. He stays with us during holidays, one weekend a month, and actually moved in with us for summer break.

My focus is on my family, although I'm an independant insurance broker. This career allows me to set my own hours and adjust meetings to fit my schedule. Some weeks I work very little, while others require lots and lots of work.

DH and I teach a RA group at our church on Wednesday nights; I also lead each of my three children's Scout troops/dens and serve as Service Unit Manager for our Girl Scout SU. PTA Vice-President at our Elementary School - make that President, since the current President resigned last week. I'm also involved in other activities and enjoy being part of historical lineage societies.

Welcome !!! I have some stair steps too!! My boys are 8.5, 7.5 and 6.5. I also have two girls ages 20 and 13 and a 3 yr old son and a 2 yr old grandson.
