I've been browsing around the forum here for a couple of days and decided to join. What a wonderful community you seem to have here! I am a 33 year old mom to two kids. My 8 year-old son and my 5 year-old daughter are my top priority. I have been a SAHM for the last five years, but since my daughter is going to kindy this year (boo hoo!) I will be going back to work as a teacher. I'm frugal by nature and trying to be more "green" and I look forward to getting even more great ideas from everyone here.

Welcome! I am in the Midwest also...MN! I am also 33, also have an 8yr old son and 5 yr old daughter (she will be 6 in a few weeks!) and I have a 2 yr old daughter as well. I plan on staying home until she goes to school. Here we currently only have half-day kindergarten (and it's really only 2.5 hrs a day) so if that keeps up I will be home until my youngest is in first grade!
