Hi ladies,

I'm turning over a new leaf and this website caught my eye! It helps to know there are others interested in saving $$, as my dh has informed me we are in bad shape ("in the hole.") I need all the inspiration I can find lol!

Welcome aboard! I am also new but my spending days are slowly dwindling away...... I learned the hard way. Hopefully this will help me and keep me motivated to keep saving and less spending. I constantly have dh on my butt. My problem was buying things that I do not necessarily need and hiding them from dh and then when he asked when we got it I would say oh that....I got that a few months ago, don't you remember. Bad, bad me! Well good luck and know that there are always people out there to help and others that are in the same situation!

OMG!!! That is exactly what I do!!! Yikes, we should go shopping together! Doh! I forgot, that's what got us here in the first place...darn.

I'm doing pretty well for not having spent money for a couple weeks now! I am urging the month to go FAST so I can say to DH, "Look honey! Look how much I didn't spend!!!!" But the month has to go FAST or I may lose control before I have anything to show for my efforts....
