Ok. I don't shop at Gymboree, I have only shopped there once and that was like 3 yrs ago. So I have a couple of questions regarding this coupon/sale thing. I received one from them in my e-mail too. 1) how do you have them hold things for you?
2) why do you do that?
I know stacia you said you would be going today to have them hold things for you. I was just wondering why you do that! TIA but I'm clueless about it! Thanks, kim

you can go and put items on hold one day before you buy them (24 hours they are allowed to hold). I do this every big sale. WHY? Because you haven't been in a gymboree the day of COF. it's crazy packed almost the whole day and with my double stroller it is impossible to get through and squeeze through the aisles. Plus sale items sell out very quickly. I went this morning and alot of stuff I needed for jared was already sold out in his size. Saves my sanity to have it all ready for me, I just wait in line, tell them my name and hand them my check card. Boom done, in and out without dealing with all the other moms drama.

Thank you so much! I think it's a great idea and makes perfect sense. I didn't know they would hold clothes for you. I just didn't know why everyone did it. Oh, I suppose you don't need to give them the coupon until tomorrow, when you pick the stuff up?

My gymboree store is too far away to make two trips, so I never can put things on hold. I will just have to battle it out with the crowds tomorrow, I guess.

I really was tempted to go out there today since it's only about 8min away but I figured I better not. The leak in the baby's room (in the ceiling) has spread and we really need to figure out what is going on. I figure with the roofer coming out on Wed I better save the money I was going to spend on clothes for his bill! I guess I'll have to wait until next time.
