I went to Kroger today and they have a sale going on where you buy 10 of thier promo items and get $5 off. Well, they had Goldfish for $1, with the discount, they were 50cents. They had Hormel Cihli with beans, pasta roni, rice a roni, Gatorade, kroger brand pop tarts, and lots more!

o.k. call me silly but for the life of me I can't quite figure this one out usually there 10 for 10 sales you don't have to really buy all 10 of the item this sales ad is worded different so do you have to buy all 10 item's to get the special price? Robin

Yes you have to buy 10 items. I would be careful though because not all of the items involved in the sale are on sale for $1. Some are on sale for 1.50 or $2.00. Really the sale boils down to if you buy 10 of these items, they will take $5.00 off at the end of your bill if you have a plus card. I think there is a limit of 3 of these $5 subtractions.

I did this the first day (our sales run Th--Th). It was a nightmare because all the things that count weren't marked correctly so some of the items I got didn't count. All the cashiers were having trouble because all the customers were complaining. Hopefully they've got it worked out by now. I plan to go back before it's over and get more of the items. They are a good deal

We bought 30 Gatorades for 50 cents each! And we stocked up on plenty of Goldfish crackers and Cheez-its~~great deals at Krogers!

Our Kroger is really good about advertising, etc. They had all the labels on the shelves that told what was eligible. Also, the sale paper shows photos of a lot of the stuff. I also got lots of Goldfish!

I did this sale last week. In my local stores this is going until April 12th. If you have the following coupons and your store doubles up to 50 cents, the following things are FREE after the $5.00 knocks off.

50 cents off any pouched Betty Crocker 17.5 oz cookie mix (a March sunday paper)--I used 4 towards my 10 items!
25 cents off any Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (the same March sunday paper)-I used 4!
30 cents off any Pillsbury Sweet Rolls (te same March sunday paper)- I used 2!
