Can I use JUST ECB to pay for a shopping trip? Or is some cash required every time? I've racked up quite a few, and I could get everything I want this week using only ECBs. Is that allowed though?

Yes, you can only use ECB although that's sort of hard to get it exactly right. I usually get it down to a dollar or two and then save the leftover ECBs for the next trip.

I'm not sure if you're aware, but you DO NOT get change back on ECBs. So for instance if you've gotten the balance down to $.30 and you have a $2 ECB to give them, your balance will be zero but you will lose the additional $1.70.
