Weird!

What does ebc stand for and how do you get them?

an ecb is an extra care buck. sign up for a (free) Extra Care Card at cvs when you go in. when you buy stuff that is marked as having an ecb, you pay for the item and then the ecb's print on your receipt for future purchases. many people like to "roll" ecb's, which is using ecb's from previous cvs conquests to purchase other ecb- generating items. that's how you see many posts where the poster paid a few cents oop (out of pocket) for items after they used theire extra care bucks.

K-mart had some good deals this week too. We got filler paper for 50 cents, Bic pens (10 packs) and mechanical pencils (8 packs) for 33 cents each and 25% off the big 2" binders (which I never find on sale for any cheaper). Plus if you spend $15 on school supplies, you get a free 4 pack of Hunts Pudding cups. In addition, at the checkout I got a coupon that is good $4 off any future purchase of anything that costs more than $4. My kids also picked out backpacks and lunchboxes, which were not a great deal but they had a nice selection of things that were not babyish.

Weird...our WalMart and Targets don't have any school supplies out yet. Target has the area set up, for the most part, but the suppplies are not the sale prices as of yet and there are a lot of empty bins.
