The mall near me is advertising a coming "Lands End Shop" in the local Sears.
This Sears already carries Lands End stuff (though very limited, I must say).

What does the conversion to an official "shop" entail, exactly.... Ok, the bottom line: will there be better deals coming now that there will be a "shop"?

Does anyone know about these? I was wondering if they had good clearance sales or carried overstock items....just trying to be prepared

the sears near me just recently made a LE shop in it and they do have some good clearance from time to time at end of season, but I haven't found any overstocks at mine.

Jnbythesea!!! I've missed you. I was just thinking about you.

We have a Landsend shop inside our Sears too. It's great. Love that I can try on things and still have their great return policy if something doesn't hold up to their high standards.

The LandsEnd Shops near me carry a very limited amt of merchandise (compared to the website). Also limited number of colors/sizes. They don't carry overstocks. They will have clearance sales/items, but to be honest, I've found that items go into deeper clearance, and there's a better selection, online. The gals that work in the LandsEnd Shops near me are SO nice, so they're very open to phone calls about sales, sizing, colors, availability etc So I take advantage of that before making a trip.

Thanks for the heads up, everyone. KathrynHannah, thank you for your kind thoughts.
My dd was very ill for quite a long time, but things have improved greatly in the past few months, so I have more time for my normal "fun stuff" on line. Although I do have to note, LOL, that I was definitely spending less the more time I was off line....

I have been shopping a lot at Lands End the past year, since I can always get free shipping on line, and then my dh could make returns for me at Sears. Very helpful when you aren't able to get out of the house much!
