I heard something weird today. The 90% holiday clearance at a local Target took effect yesterday (Jan. 4) at 5 pm. Before 5 pm, it was 75%. Doesn't the computer system update at the end of the day or the next AM? I thought it was strange that it would be updated during the day. Has anyone heard of this?

I don't know, but mine is still 75%. A good bit left, but I bought...NOTHING. Lot of stockings and boxes and bows.

I heard that this year target changed it up on when stores will start marking down on christmas. There is no set date for every store to go 75 or 90% off their Christmas stuff. It is up to the manager and when they feel it is right to mark things lower. If they feel that Christmas stuff is still being bought then some stores will stay at 50 or 75% off longer then another store.
