So my ds needs a new bike desperately as the 16" one he got when he was 4 y.o. he's outgrown. He'll be 8 in May and he really wants a yellow bike. ( his fav. color) I've been watching this yellow Magna bike at Target for the past month now. ( all the other stores only had black, red or blue bikes in 20" for boys) it was marked down from $79. to $48. for the past 3 wks. I figure today I'll bite the bullet and bye it, under $50.00 is still a good deal and it is the color he wants, I head back to the bike aisles and the bikes are pulled off the racks and are in the aisles...I panic..oh no did I miss it?! I search for it and find it, then an associate and i ask them to plase check the price for me...
.drumroll please.... $17.48!!!!!!
I can hardly beleive it, I am estatic, the assoc. looks at me like I'm nuts as I do my happy dance! I then call my friend as her ds needs one too and his bday is in April and she gets one for him too for the same price!

Wow, that is a great deal. Maybe I'll have to stop by our Target to see if they're having the same sale. We are planning on getting DS one for his birthday (he turned 4 last week, but we were going to wait until the spring to get it because it seemed kind of unfair to say, "here's your new bike, but you can't ride it now because of the snow"). But with a sale that good, it could go in the garage for a few months!

Congrats on the great find.

Dh and I are wanting to get bikes and start riding together so I'm going to make a run there tonight to check it out. Fingers crossed that they have some.

That's an awesome deal! I should go to my Target and see if I can get one for my ds.. He really wanted one at Christmas, I just couldn't afford it with everything else he wanted!

I lucked out too...they had the bike my dd was looking at two weeks ago marked down to 17.48. Even the teenager that took the bike off the rack for me said WOW. Thanks for the heads up.

I went last night and picked up 3 bikes for a total of $87.xx - one was for me (my dh said it as a great deal at $30 because it's aluminum) and the other two are 20" for my kids - one yellow mountain bike type and the other a pink girly bike for my dd's BD next month. Needless to say, I was thrilled.

They also had $160 foosball tables on sale for $40 (of which I abstained!)
