I just got back from Aldi and they had a special - the Hormel Natural Choice deli meats (ours only had ham and roasted turkey) ~ $2.99 each! These are minimally processed, *nitrate free*, all natural preservative free!! I have stopped buying meats that have nitrates in them and my family loves this brand! I usually get them at a high-end grocery store because that is the only place I can find them. I usually have to pay $3.79 a package! I stocked up and bought 12 packages and froze them. They will last us all summer. They are perfect for taking out of the freezer the night before and then just throwing them in a picnic basket the next day and having a picnic. Just had to share!!

The Hormel Naturals are the only luncheon meat that we buy for the same reasons as you. The only place I have been able to find it is at Super Walmart for $2.99 each but last week they were 2 for $5. Crossing my fingers that they stay that price. I wish we had an Aldi's, though.

I found them at Super Walmart for $2.99 as well, but as the closest one is 20 minutes each way it just isn't worth the gas $ for us! So I was estatic when I found these.

I was looking for them when I went to my Aldis yesterday but they didn't have it.
I wanted to try it.
