I rushed out this morning for some of the great buys they had on school supplies ( we started already, but I stock up now because it is a lot cheaper now than when we run out around Christmas). Anyway, true to form they were out of 3 of the 4 things I was looking for. Of course I asked about them and she said they have been out for a while and will not be getting them in so no rain check. Same old song there!!! I don't understand how they can get away with this!

They just torn down a gas station near me and are putting up a WalGreens- sounds like I am going to like it.

Walgreens is mainly a pharmacy, but they have some groceries, a huge health & beauty section, it's like a mini walmart. What I love about ours is the fact that it has a 24 hour drive thru pharmacy. Could have sure used them back when my youngest was a baby, it never failed he would get an ear infection in the middle of the night & we would have to wait til 9 the next morning for someplace to open so we could get his antibiotic filled!! But now, if I need to pick something up at 2 am I can (hope I don't have to, but its a great convenience)
