Last week while visiting my local B&M Old Navy store (IN), cashier verified their 50% off clearance prices will begin 7/6/07. Phoned my local store to ask about price matching, and they will price match their own prices for 14 days. This means you can shop NOW and get a price match (just take in receipt, not merchandise) or wait until then to see if anything new has been added.

I visited my store this morning. When I asked about the price match, the mgr was very surprised and stated that "Customers shouldnt know about that sale yet!" She asked me how I knew and told her one of her own employees verified it to me! I found jeans and short and long sleeve shirts for both boys, and some summer vacation clothes for DH. $179 will be $90 next week! Can't wait!

Yes, I never find much for myself, either. But I did spring for a new umbrella ($5.97 - 50%)!! My store even had plenty of clearance items for the four-legged members of the family.

How does the price match work? Just bring in the receipt and they scan it and give you the difference???

Yes, that's pretty much how it works. Just make sure you wait until the official sale (Friday) to get your price match. I am planning on getting my PM over the weekend, at least before Monday. I'm not sure how long the sale lasts. Remember, it's only the RED ticketed items that are on clearance.

Thanks for the information. This could be dangerous for me. I never buy me anything there mainly just for the kids or dh. It may not be a good idea for me to go.
