The Pier 1 Kids here in Houston (and everywhere from what I can tell from the website) is going out of business and selling off everything. they were hanging the 75% off signs today as I drove by (it was 50% previously) What a deal!! Furniture, bedding, stocking stuffers.... I spent $30 today on $120 worth of merchandise. My daughter was thrilled!

Is this sale online as well? Or is it just the store going out of buisness???

OK I just went to the "pier one kids" online site and it says that they no longer sell anything on their site and that you have to go to a store... we don't have a P1Kids in our area...Oh well. I use to get things online from them once and a while, I'll kind of miss that online store.

I was sooooo looking forward to going to our Pier One Kids today... I got there only to find that they're still at 50% (which I don't think is a great deal for that particular store --- now 75% that's another story!) There's so many things I've been waiting for in there, I guess I'll have to buzz by every so often so I don't miss it!

We didn't get a Pier 1 until about 5 yrs ago so I'm not surprised I never heard of of Pier1 Kids.

P1Kids must have tested in a small market and not worked out, because it wasn't around here very long. What a shame--such cute stuff, though it is (was) very pricey. I deided to go ahead and get my son's "big boy" room things, even tho he won't be needing it for another 6 months at least. At 75% off, it was cheaper than Wal-mart! After extra markdowns for the floor samples, I got almost $400 worth of items for $80. And its all SOOO cute!! I can't wait to do his room.
I'm going to keep passing by to check window signs. If they go lower than 75%, I'll get Christmas presents galore.
