Beginning MONDAY, if you take $30 in change to a coinstar machine, it will count it for free, give you a $30 amazon gift card, and spit out a form to send in to get a free $10 amazon gift card. So if you've got $30 in change lying around, it's a good way to get rid of it and get $40 in amazon gift cards. Here's the info:

Cool...so, any idea what the Coinstar fee would be for the $30?

Looks like as long as you turn the cash into a gift card(the whole amount) there is no fee.

Right....coinstar only charges if you get money back. Currently you do not get charged a fee if you convert your money into a giftcard (which usually is actually an "e" card). For example my kids will take all their change there and buy an ITunes card and it doesn't charge them anything. So for this deal...they'll count your money free (must be at least $30), then they'll immediately give you a $30 Amazon ecertificate and you mail in a form and you'll get another $10. So basically $40 in amazon ecertificates for $30 in change.
