School didn't even start for us yet and they already started marking down 30% on some of the school supplies to make room for halloween. The one thing I did notice that wasn't on clearance was the backpacks.

Walmart also hase some of their school supplies on clearance! I'm hoping to pick up a label maker this year. I waited too long last year and didn't get one.

I picked up:

10-pack of college-ruled notebooks with clean perforation for 70 cents.
4-pack of Scotch brand tape (one is double sided) for $2.04
3 vinyl pencil cases at 41 cents a piece
pencil grips to help with handwriting (OMG THE HANDWRITING *scream* ) 61 cents
Rose Art colored pencil 12-pack 35 cents each (2 different sets of colors ooooh)

I can't remember what else off the top of my head. But it was all around $22 until we got to the things we really needed Tide, toilet paper and pads. Oh well!

One of the things on my "list" is school supplies for xmas for the girls. I noticed they are down to stubs for crayons here and they LOVE getting art supplies so for home they are getting new crayons and paper etc. It's all clearenced so it's perfect for them. I also pick up several packs of crayola markers usually for $1. They make great birthday presents! I keep about 10 pkgs on hand and make a art gift bag. I include stickers, markers, glue, paper things like that and kids LOVE it.
