I had a great time, and got lots of deals this black Friday!*!

My Dh stood in line at Target at 5 a.m. the lines were long but we saved 70.00 on a Kodak camera and hundreds of dollards on a 20' LCD HDTV for our bedroom-got it for 181.00 after sale and 10% off on Target charge.

We went to Walmart, JcPenny, Bon-Ton, and bath and body works, here is what I got for under 180.00:

Alternative Down Comforter
Flannel Sheet Set
Kenneth Cole breifcase with leather strap
4 Wallflowers from B&B
2 Body Wash from B&B
Littlest Pet Shop Playground
DVD Recorder (great sale at Big Lots)
Willow Tree Angel
Nike sweatshirt
Coffee pot
Mini chopper
Toaster
1-DVD season series
3- DVD movies
4 boxes of Christmas lights
2 glove, hat and scarf sets

I was OVERLY proud to say the least*!*

I hit Best Buy at 4:30. I needed the Spongebob DVD. I then went to Old Navy and got me some jeans and some clothes for my Hubby and Sis for Christmas. Macy's I had the $10 off $25 coupons and got a shirt for Christmas pics and more clothes for Hubby. I had a blast. Not such good deals, but lots of fun.

I would have been one of the poor souls in the Best Buy parking lot, but my DH came up with a better gift idea to replace the one at Best Buy (camera and digital frame) with a power washer at Menards. Menards is closer, so we went there and then to Walgreens. My DH also wanted a ladder that they were advertising at Menards. We didn't start out overly early, but we were able to get both the power washer and the laddder (a total of $100 in savings). I had to laugh, because almost everyone had one of those ladders in their cart! I wanted a digital pic key chain at Walgreens, but it was sold out. Christmas candy was on sale, though, so I'm set there . . . .

The biggest problem for us was the weather. We had rain that turned to snow overnight, so the parking lots were VERY icy and bumpy. DH cracked his crotch doing the splits in one of the parking lots! The stores were busy, but we left DS at home, so it just seemed easier to get through the stores . . . .

I want to get DS a camera for next year's Christmas present, so I am still going to look for sales throughout this season and at the after Christmas sales. I'm sure there will be something!

I was in the crowd of steady people filing into Kohls at 4am but got the Reed Diffusers I wanted that sold out in minutes. Reg $15.99 for $5. Animal bath towels for $7 - I got 4 for the price of one. Spent $120 and got $20 to spend starting tomorrow.

Spent my $10 at Herberger's on 5 Holiday Kitchen towels that were $20 - on sale for $10 which equaled FREE! Not even tax!

Jewelry Armoire for $35 from Target and a Red Crockpot and a Waffle Maker for $15. Spent $100 and got $10 off. Missed out on the play doh, small crockpots and K'nex that I didn't really need anyhow but thought they were a good deal.

$16 pj's from Children's Place. I got 3 pair for $16.

I was in line outside compusa for about an hour. It was soo cold. And stood in line inside for about an hour and 25 minutes. When we went to checkout at Walmart, two cashiers were standing there asking people that passed by if they were ready. So we check out immediately and got out of walmart at 545.

I'm sorry you didn't have a sitter but I'm glad you didn't take your kids. I heard little kids crying they were tired in the stores yesterday when I went and the parents yelling at them to be quiet . I found one thing, Baby Alive, at a decent price at Target. I don't think it was worth all the stress, though.

We spent the day at a high school football playoff game then hit Circuit City last night around 7 pm. We got a 52" LCD TV for $1000 off the regular price. That is the only place we went.
